HGV Test Station and Offices

The contract was a new build consisting of a two storey office block and a test-hall with training facilities.

Work Completed:

The office block incorporated the following services:-

• Under-floor heating
• Natural ventilation systems incorporating passive stacks and automatic opening windows
• Mechanical heat recovery ventilation systems
• Rain water harvesting system
• Building energy management system with remote access
• Door access & intruder alarm systems
• IT infrastructure system
• Fire alarm installation
• Automatic daylight & occupancy controlled lighting systems
• Emergency lighting systems

The Test-hall incorporated the following services:-

• LPHW radiator heating system
• Natural ventilation systems incorporating passive stacks and automatic opening windows
• Mechanical heat recovery ventilation systems
• Heat metering
• Pit ventilation systems
• Door access & intruder alarm systems
• IT infrastructure system
• Fire alarm installation
• Automatic daylight & occupancy controlled lighting systems
• Emergency lighting systems
• Utility supplies to all HGV test equipment and facilities
