Woodthorpe Hall Caravan Park

Integrated Group (M&E) have completed a new amenity building for Woodthorpe Hall Leisure Park near Alford.

The building consists of changing facilities, laundry & a pamper room for the visiting tourers, a golf shop & changing facilities for the resident golfers, and administration offices for the staff.

Underfloor heating was installed throughout the new facility with fan coil units to the offices and shop during the summer months. The heating & cooling was provided by two ground source heat pumps installed within a roof top plant room, 1800m of gound loop was installed to harness the earths energy.

Solar water heating was also installed to provide hot water to the changing facilities, eight panels were installed on the south east facing elevation to a twin coil tank in tank cylinder, topped upo by one of the ground source heat pumps and LPG boiler for legionella pasturisation.

Rain water harvesting consisted of a 10'000 litre underground tank connected to the rain water below ground drainage to feed the toilet & urinal cisterns.
